Definition
In philosophy and theory, nonreductive describes an approach that explains a phenomenon without claiming it can be fully reduced to, or identified with, more fundamental components (e.g., mind not reduced to brain states).
দর্শন ও তত্ত্বে nonreductive বলতে এমন দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি বোঝায়, যা কোনো ঘটনাকে ব্যাখ্যা করে কিন্তু দাবি করে না যে সেটিকে সম্পূর্ণভাবে আরও মৌলিক উপাদানে নামিয়ে (reduce করে) বা তাদের সঙ্গে একাকার করে ব্যাখ্যা করা যায় (যেমন, মনকে কেবল মস্তিষ্কের অবস্থায় সীমিত না করা)।
