Definition
Describing a material (especially carbon) that is not in the graphite form—i.e., it does not have graphite’s layered crystal structure and therefore does not behave like graphite in properties such as electrical/thermal conductivity or lubricity.
এমন কোনো পদার্থ (বিশেষ করে কার্বন) বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা গ্রাফাইট আকারে নেই—অর্থাৎ গ্রাফাইটের স্তরযুক্ত স্ফটিক কাঠামো অনুপস্থিত, ফলে বিদ্যুৎ/তাপ পরিবাহিতা বা লুব্রিকেশনের মতো বৈশিষ্ট্যে গ্রাফাইটের মতো আচরণ করে না।
