Definition
Used to describe foods, crops, or ingredients that are not cereal grains (such as rice, wheat, maize/corn, oats). It often appears in agricultural, nutritional, or product-label contexts to distinguish legumes, tubers, fruits, vegetables, or other items from cereals.
