Formed in modern English from the prefix non- (“not”) + introductory (“serving as an introduction”), ultimately related to Latin introducere (“to lead in”).
আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে non- (“না/অ-”) উপসর্গ + introductory (“ভূমিকা-সংক্রান্ত/ভূমিকা হিসেবে কাজ করে এমন”) থেকে গঠিত; এর গভীরে লাতিন introducere (“ভিতরে/প্রবেশ করিয়ে নেওয়া”) ধারণার সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক আছে।
