Formed by adding the prefix non- (“not”) to hernia (from Latin hernia, “rupture”).
লাতিন hernia (“ছিঁড়ে যাওয়া/রাপচার”) শব্দ থেকে আগত hernia-এর আগে non- (“না/নয়”) উপসর্গ যোগ করে গঠিত।
Definition
Used (especially in medical contexts) to describe a patient, symptom, imaging finding, or diagnosis that is confirmed not to be a hernia, or that shows no herniation.
