Formed in modern technical English by adding the prefix non- (“not”) to epoxy (from epoxide/epoxy resin terminology in chemistry).
আধুনিক কারিগরি ইংরেজিতে non- (“না/বিহীন”) উপসর্গ যোগ করে epoxy শব্দ থেকে গঠিত; epoxy শব্দটি রসায়নের epoxide/epoxy resin পরিভাষা থেকে এসেছে।
Definition
Describing a material, coating, adhesive, or product that does not use epoxy resin—either because another binder/chemistry is used (e.g., acrylic, polyurethane, polyester) or because epoxy is specifically avoided for performance, curing, cost, or compatibility reasons.
এমন কোনো উপাদান, কোটিং, আঠা বা পণ্যকে বোঝায় যাতে ইপোক্সি রেজিন ব্যবহার করা হয় না—বরং অন্য ধরনের বাইন্ডার/রসায়ন (যেমন অ্যাক্রিলিক, পলিউরেথেন, পলিয়েস্টার) ব্যবহার করা হয় বা কর্মক্ষমতা, শুকানোর পদ্ধতি, খরচ, কিংবা সামঞ্জস্যজনিত কারণে ইপোক্সি ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে এড়ানো হয়।
