আধুনিক ভাষাবৈজ্ঞানিক পরিভাষায় non- (‘না/বিহীন’) + agentive (‘কর্তা/কর্মকারীসহ’, agent + -ive) থেকে গঠিত; যেখানে প্রকাশ্য বা ধারণাগত কর্তা নেই—এমন অর্থ/গঠন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
In linguistics/grammar, non-agentive describes verbs, clauses, subjects, or constructions where the event is presented without an intentional doer (agent), often focusing on the action/result/state (e.g., passives without an expressed agent, inchoatives, experiencer or theme subjects).
ভাষাবিজ্ঞান/ব্যাকরণে non-agentive বলতে এমন ক্রিয়া, উপবাক্য, কর্তা বা গঠনকে বোঝায় যেখানে কাজের ইচ্ছাকৃত কর্তা (agent) উল্লেখিত নয় বা ধারণাগতভাবে সামনে আনা হয় না; বরং ক্রিয়া/ফলাফল/অবস্থার ওপর জোর থাকে (যেমন কর্তা-উল্লেখহীন passive, inchoative, experiencer বা theme-কর্তা ইত্যাদি)।
