Definition
Nickel-free describes a material or product that contains no nickel (Ni), or is manufactured so that nickel does not come into contact with the wearer/user—often used for jewelry, watch backs, buttons, zippers, eyeglass frames, and medical items to help people with nickel allergy/dermatitis.
