Mutagenicity is the property of a chemical, physical agent, or biological factor to induce changes (mutations) in DNA, potentially leading to heritable genetic alterations and increasing risks such as cancer or birth defects.
মিউটাজেনিসিটি হলো কোনো রাসায়নিক পদার্থ, ভৌত এজেন্ট বা জৈবিক উপাদানের এমন একটি বৈশিষ্ট্য, যা ডিএনএ-তে পরিবর্তন (মিউটেশন) ঘটাতে পারে; এর ফলে বংশগত জিনগত পরিবর্তন হতে পারে এবং ক্যান্সার বা জন্মগত ত্রুটির মতো ঝুঁকি বাড়তে পারে।
