ইংরেজি ক্রিয়া “mull” (অর্থ: ভাবা/মনন করা; পরে “ওয়াইন গরম করে মসলা দেওয়া” অর্থেও ব্যবহৃত) থেকে এসেছে; “mulled” হলো এর অতীত রূপ ও অতীত ক্রিয়াবিশেষণ।
Definition
Mulled is the past form of “mull,” meaning to think about something carefully for a period of time (often in the phrase “mull over”); it can also mean heated and flavored with spices (as in “mulled wine”).
“Mulled” হলো “mull”-এর অতীত/অতীত ক্রিয়াবিশেষণ রূপ; এর অর্থ কোনো বিষয় নিয়ে অনেক ভেবে দেখা/পর্যালোচনা করা (প্রায়ই “mull over” বাক্যাংশে), এবং আরেক অর্থ হলো কোনো পানীয় (যেমন ওয়াইন) গরম করে মসলা দিয়ে স্বাদযুক্ত করা (যেমন “mulled wine”)।
