Definition
A mudskipper is a small amphibious fish (a type of goby) found in mangroves and intertidal mudflats; it can breathe air for periods and uses its pectoral fins to ‘walk’ or hop on mud and land.
মাডস্কিপার হলো একটি ছোট উভচরস্বভাবের মাছ (গোবি পরিবারের), যা ম্যানগ্রোভ ও জোয়ার-ভাটার কাদামাটির সমতলে থাকে; এটি কিছু সময় বাতাস থেকে অক্সিজেন নিতে পারে এবং বক্ষপাখনা ব্যবহার করে কাদা বা স্থলে ‘হেঁটে’ বা লাফিয়ে চলাফেরা করে।
