mis- উপসর্গ (“ভুলভাবে”) + articulated (articulate-এর অতীত কৃদন্ত), যার উৎস লাতিন articulare (“জোড়ায় ভাগ করা; স্পষ্টভাবে উচ্চারণ করা/উচ্চারণকে পৃথক ধ্বনিতে গঠন করা”).
Definition
Used to describe speech sounds, words, or utterances that are formed incorrectly because the speaker’s articulators (tongue, lips, jaw, etc.) do not produce the intended sound pattern; common in speech disorders or when speaking quickly.
যে কোনো শব্দ/ধ্বনি/উচ্চারণ ভুলভাবে গঠিত বা ভুলভাবে উচ্চারিত বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়—যখন জিহ্বা, ঠোঁট, চোয়াল ইত্যাদি উচ্চারণযন্ত্র ঠিকভাবে নড়াচড়া না করায় লক্ষ্য ধ্বনি সঠিকভাবে তৈরি হয় না; স্পিচ ডিসঅর্ডার বা তাড়াহুড়ো করে বলার সময় এমন হতে পারে।
