Definition
Keyness is the quality of being especially important or central; in corpus linguistics it means how unusually frequent a word or phrase is in a target text relative to a reference corpus, typically measured with statistical tests.
Keyness বলতে কোনো কিছুর ‘মূল/গুরুত্বপূর্ণ’ হওয়ার মাত্রা বা গুণ বোঝায়; কর্পাস ভাষাবিজ্ঞানে এটি বোঝায়—একটি লক্ষ্য পাঠ্যে কোনো শব্দ/বাক্যাংশ রেফারেন্স কর্পাসের তুলনায় কতটা অস্বাভাবিকভাবে বেশি (বা কম) ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে, যা সাধারণত পরিসংখ্যানগত পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে মাপা হয়।
