From Japanese 火之迦具土神 (Hi-no-Kagutsuchi-no-Kami), a Shinto deity name meaning roughly “Fire’s Shining/Incandescent Earth,” often glossed as the god of fire.
জাপানি 火之迦具土神 (হি-নো-কাগুৎসুচি-নো-কামি) নাম থেকে; শিন্তো দেবতার এই নামের অর্থ মোটামুটি ‘আগুনের দীপ্ত/দীপ্তিমান ভূমি’ ধরনের, এবং সাধারণভাবে ‘অগ্নিদেবতা’ হিসেবে ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়।
Definition
Kagutsuchi is a fire deity in Japanese Shinto mythology, famously born to the creator gods Izanagi and Izanami; his flames fatally burned Izanami, and his subsequent slaying and the blood spilled are said to have produced other gods and natural forces.
কাগুৎসুচি জাপানি শিন্তো পুরাণের অগ্নিদেবতা; সৃষ্টিকর্তা দেবতা ইজানাগি ও ইজানামির সন্তান হিসেবে তাঁর জন্মের সময় আগুনের তাপে ইজানামি মৃত্যুবরণ করেন, এবং পরে কাগুৎসুচিকে হত্যার ঘটনা ও রক্তপাত থেকে নানান দেবতা ও প্রাকৃতিক শক্তির উৎপত্তি হয়েছে বলে পুরাণে বর্ণিত।
