Modern informal English (late 20th century), from the idea of “waving one’s hands” to indicate something roughly without giving details; formed from hand + wavy.
আধুনিক অনানুষ্ঠানিক ইংরেজি (২০শ শতকের শেষভাগ); বিস্তারিত না দিয়ে মোটামুটি বোঝাতে ‘হাত নেড়ে দেখানো/ইশারা করা’—এই ধারণা থেকে উদ্ভূত; hand + wavy সংযোজনে গঠিত।
