Flame-resistant এমন উপাদান বা পোশাককে বোঝায় যা আগুন সহজে ধরে না এবং আগুন/উচ্চ তাপে সংস্পর্শে এলে নিজে থেকে নিভে যায় বা পোড়া সীমিত করে, ফলে দগ্ধ হওয়ার ঝুঁকি কমে।
