Origin & History
Modern English formation from figment (Latin figmentum ‘something formed/invented’, from fingere ‘to form, shape, invent’) + the adjectival suffix -ary. Rare/nonce-style word in standard usage.
আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে figment শব্দ (লাতিন figmentum ‘গঠিত/উদ্ভাবিত কিছু’, fingere ‘গঠন করা, আকার দেওয়া, উদ্ভাবন করা’ থেকে) + বিশেষণসূচক প্রত্যয় -ary যোগে গঠিত। প্রচলিত ব্যবহারে বিরল/অপ্রচলিত ধরনের শব্দ।
