From Latin fenestra (“window”), via the scientific/architectural term fenestration (“the act or arrangement of providing windows/openings”), later pluralized as fenestrations.
লাতিন fenestra (“জানালা”) শব্দ থেকে; বিজ্ঞান/স্থাপত্যে fenestration অর্থ “জানালা/খোলা অংশ তৈরি বা তার বিন্যাস”—সেখান থেকে পরে বহুবচনে fenestrations ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Definition
Fenestrations are openings—especially windows, skylights, or other wall apertures—in buildings; in medicine/biology, fenestrations are small perforations or window-like openings in membranes, tissues, or bones.
ফেনেস্ট্রেশন বলতে কোনো কাঠামোর—বিশেষত ভবনের—জানালা, স্কাইলাইট বা দেয়ালের অন্যান্য খোলা অংশ/ছিদ্রকে বোঝায়; চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞান/জীববিজ্ঞানে ফেনেস্ট্রেশন হলো ঝিল্লি, টিস্যু বা হাড়ে থাকা ক্ষুদ্র ছিদ্র বা জানালার মতো খোলা অংশ।
