A technical HVAC/industrial-heating compound: direct + fired (“heated by burning fuel”), used to distinguish systems where combustion products directly contact the heated air from indirect-fired (heat-exchanger) systems.

Definition
In air-heating equipment, direct-fired means the fuel is burned and the hot combustion products mix directly with the supply air, so heat is transferred without a separating heat exchanger; this can be efficient but requires control of combustion by-products and air quality.
এয়ার-হিটিং যন্ত্রে direct-fired বলতে বোঝায়—জ্বালানি পোড়ালে যে গরম দহন-গ্যাস তৈরি হয় তা সরাসরি সরবরাহকৃত বাতাসের সঙ্গে মিশে বাতাসকে গরম করে; এখানে আলাদা করে তাপ-বিনিময়ক (heat exchanger) থাকে না। এতে দক্ষতা বেশি হতে পারে, তবে দহনজাত উপপণ্য ও বায়ুর গুণমান নিয়ন্ত্রণ জরুরি।
