“Depths” is the plural form of “depth”. It can mean (1) several measurements of depth (e.g., different depths of water), (2) the deepest parts of something, especially water (the depths of the sea), and (3) figuratively, the most intense, severe, or remote parts of a time, feeling, or situation (the depths of despair / the depths of night).
