Formed in modern scientific English from cell + free (“without”), used to contrast with cell-based/whole-cell methods, especially in biochemistry and molecular biology.
আধুনিক বৈজ্ঞানিক ইংরেজিতে cell + free (“বিহীন/মুক্ত”) থেকে গঠিত; বিশেষত বায়োকেমিস্ট্রি ও মলিকিউলার বায়োলজিতে cell-based বা whole-cell পদ্ধতির বিপরীতে ব্যবহার হয়।
Definition
Cell-free describes something done without intact living cells—e.g., reactions carried out in extracts or purified components rather than inside whole cells (cell-free protein synthesis, cell-free DNA, cell-free assays).
‘সেল-ফ্রি’ বলতে বোঝায়—অক্ষত জীবন্ত কোষ ছাড়া সম্পন্ন বা বিদ্যমান কিছু; যেমন সম্পূর্ণ কোষের ভিতরে না হয়ে কোষ-নির্যাস (extract) বা বিশুদ্ধ উপাদান দিয়ে করা বিক্রিয়া/পরীক্ষা (যেমন cell-free protein synthesis, cell-free DNA, cell-free assay)।
