From broncho- (relating to the bronchi) + spastic (from spasm, Greek spasmós “a drawing/convulsion”), used in medical English to mean “characterized by bronchial spasm.”
broncho- (ব্রঙ্কাই/শ্বাসনালীর শাখা-প্রশাখা সম্পর্কিত) + spastic (spasm থেকে; গ্রিক spasmós অর্থ ‘টান/খিঁচুনি’)—চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞানের ইংরেজিতে ‘ব্রঙ্কিয়াল খিঁচুনি দ্বারা চিহ্নিত’ অর্থে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Bronchospastic describes a condition, reaction, or patient in which the bronchial tubes undergo spasm, narrowing the airways and often causing wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing.
Bronchospastic বলতে এমন অবস্থা/প্রতিক্রিয়া/রোগীকে বোঝায় যেখানে ব্রঙ্কিয়াল নালিগুলোতে খিঁচুনি (স্প্যাজম) হয়, ফলে শ্বাসনালী সরু হয়ে যায় এবং প্রায়ই শোঁ শোঁ শব্দে শ্বাস (wheezing), শ্বাসকষ্ট ও কাশি দেখা দেয়।
