Definition
A brahmist is a person who follows Brahmoism, a reformist monotheistic movement that arose in 19th-century Bengal and emphasized worship of one formless God, social reform, and rejection of idol worship.
ব্রাহ্মিস্ট হলো এমন ব্যক্তি যিনি ব্রাহ্মধর্ম/ব্রাহ্মোবাদ অনুসরণ করেন—এটি উনিশ শতকের বাংলায় উদ্ভূত এক সংস্কারবাদী একেশ্বরবাদী আন্দোলন, যেখানে নিরাকার এক ঈশ্বরে উপাসনা, সামাজিক সংস্কার এবং মূর্তিপূজার প্রত্যাখ্যানকে গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।
