bi- (“দুই”) উপসর্গ + locate থেকে গঠিত, “bilocation” শব্দের অনুকরণে; ইংরেজিতে বিশেষত ধর্মীয় লেখালেখিতে (উনিশ–বিশ শতক) বেশি দেখা যায়।
