An ammonide is a compound formed by the combination of ammonia with another substance (often a metal or metal salt), where ammonia is bound or present in the compound, sometimes resembling a salt-like material.
অ্যামোনাইড হলো এমন একটি রাসায়নিক যৌগ যা অ্যামোনিয়া (NH3) অন্য কোনো পদার্থের (প্রায়ই ধাতু বা ধাতব লবণ) সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে গঠিত হয়; এতে অ্যামোনিয়া যৌগের ভেতরে আবদ্ধ/সমন্বিত অবস্থায় থাকে এবং অনেক সময় লবণসদৃশ প্রকৃতি দেখা যায়।
