From Greek roots: a- (“without”) + chrōma (“color”) + -ism (noun-forming suffix), denoting the condition of being without color.
গ্রিক মূল থেকে: a- (অর্থ ‘বিহীন/ছাড়া’) + chrōma (অর্থ ‘রং’) + -ism (অবস্থা/ধর্ম বোঝানো প্রত্যয়); অর্থাৎ ‘রং-ছাড়া অবস্থার’ নাম।
Definition
Achroism refers to a state of being without color or showing no distinct hue, often discussed in optics (e.g., light or lenses) and sometimes in physiology as lack of normal color perception.
Achroism বলতে রঙের অনুপস্থিতি বা কোনো নির্দিষ্ট বর্ণ-ছটার অভাব বোঝায়; এটি বিশেষ করে অপটিক্সে (যেমন আলো বা লেন্সে) এবং কখনও কখনও শারীরবৃত্তীয় প্রেক্ষিতে স্বাভাবিক রঙ-অনুভূতির অভাব হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
