অনেকগুলো উপাদান, সদস্য বা অংশকে একত্রে বিবেচনা করলে যে সামগ্রিক রূপ বা মোট ফল পাওয়া যায় তাকে সমষ্টি বলে; গণিতে এটি যোগফল বা মোট পরিমাণ বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়
