From Bengali ‘শিং’ (horn) + suffix ‘-হীন’ meaning ‘without/lacking’; the suffix traces back to Sanskrit ‘हीन (hīna)’ meaning ‘deficient/deprived’
Definition
যার শিং নেই বা শিংযুক্ত হওয়ার কথা থাকলেও শিং অনুপস্থিত—প্রাণী/জিনিসের ক্ষেত্রে ‘শিংহীন’ বলা হয়
