চাহিদা, ব্যয় বা ব্যবহার শেষে যে পরিমাণ অতিরিক্ত থেকে যায়, কিংবা উৎপাদন/সরবরাহ চাহিদাকে ছাড়িয়ে গেলে যে অতিরিক্ত অংশ সৃষ্টি হয়—তাকে সারপ্লাস বলে
