লেখা, প্রবন্ধ, প্রতিবেদন বা বইয়ের ধারাবাহিক গঠনে বিষয়ভিত্তিকভাবে বিভক্ত একটি স্বতন্ত্র অংশ, যা সাধারণত নতুন লাইনে শুরু হয় এবং একটি ভাব বা উপ-বিষয়কে কেন্দ্র করে গঠিত
