বাংলা শব্দ ‘অনিশ্চিত’ (অ- উপসর্গ + নিশ্চিত) থেকে ‘-তা’ প্রত্যয়ে গঠিত বিমূর্ত বিশেষ্য; মূল ধারণাটি সংস্কৃত/তৎসম ধারা থেকে এসেছে
