আরবি ‘কুরআন/কোরআন’ শব্দের সঙ্গে বাংলা নঞর্থক উপসর্গ ‘অ-’ এবং বিশেষণসূচক প্রত্যয় ‘-ীয়’ যুক্ত হয়ে গঠিত

Formed in Bengali by adding the negative prefix ‘অ-’ (non-/un-) and the adjectival suffix ‘-ীয়’ to the Arabic-derived word ‘কুরআন/কোরআন (Qur'an)’.

Definition

যে মত, ব্যাখ্যা, বিধান, রীতি বা কাজ কোরআনের বক্তব্য/নীতির সঙ্গে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ নয়, তাকে ‘অকোরআনীয়’ বলা হয়

Something—such as an opinion, interpretation, rule, custom, or act—that is not consistent with the Qur'an’s text or principles is called ‘non-Qur'anic’.
