যে ভাব, মতবাদ, তত্ত্ব বা আচার-অনুষ্ঠান বেদ ও বৈদিক ধর্মীয় বিধানকে মানে না, তার সঙ্গে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ নয়, বা তার বিরোধিতা করে—সেই অবস্থাকেই ‘অবৈদিকতা’ বলা হয়
