যে ব্যক্তি বা অবস্থা জ্ঞান হারিয়ে অচেতন হয়ে আছে; কখনও কখনও গভীর ঘুম/আচ্ছন্নতাকে বোঝায়, এবং সঙ্গীত-পরিভাষায় মূর্ছনা (স্বরের ক্রম/সঞ্চার) প্রয়োগে সৃষ্ট বা আবিষ্ট অবস্থাকেও নির্দেশ করতে পারে

Unconscious; having lost awareness/senses; sometimes used for being deeply asleep or stupefied, and in musical usage it can refer to something produced by or absorbed in ‘mūrchanā’ (a progression/sequence of notes)
