ব্যবসা, বিনিয়োগ বা কোনো পণ্য/সেবা বিক্রির ক্ষেত্রে মোট আয় থেকে মোট খরচ (ক্রয়মূল্য, পরিচালন ব্যয়, কর ইত্যাদি) বাদ দিলে যে উদ্বৃত্ত থাকে, সেটাই মুনাফা; এটিকে লাভও বলা হয়
