কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানে বা শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ কাঠামোয় পদগুলোর শ্রেণিবিন্যাসে যে পদটি সবচেয়ে নিচে বা নিম্নস্তরে থাকে, তাকে ‘কনিষ্ঠ পদ’ বলা হয়; এটি ‘জ্যেষ্ঠ পদ’-এর বিপরীত অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়
