Definition

কাছারি বলতে সাধারণত রাজস্ব আদায়, জমি-জমা সংক্রান্ত হিসাব রাখা, প্রজাদের অভিযোগ-দাবি শোনা বা প্রাথমিক বিচারকার্য পরিচালনার জন্য স্থাপিত দপ্তর বা অফিসকে বোঝায়; বিশেষত জমিদারি আমলে জমিদারের কাচারি এবং সরকারি মহকুমা/থানার অধীন রাজস্ব দপ্তরের অর্থে ব্যবহৃত
