গরু ও গবাদিপশুকে হত্যা, নির্যাতন বা অবহেলা থেকে রক্ষা করা, তাদের আশ্রয়, চিকিৎসা, খাদ্য ইত্যাদির ব্যবস্থা করা এবং এ উদ্দেশ্যে গড়ে ওঠা সামাজিক-ধর্মীয় উদ্যোগ বা আন্দোলন
