ধর্ষণ হলো এমন এক গুরুতর অপরাধ যেখানে কোনো ব্যক্তির স্বাধীন ও স্বেচ্ছাসম্মতি ছাড়া বলপ্রয়োগ, ভীতি, ক্ষমতার অপব্যবহার বা অক্ষমতার সুযোগ নিয়ে যৌন কার্য করা হয়; এটি শারীরিক, মানসিক ও সামাজিকভাবে গভীর ক্ষতি ঘটায় এবং আইনত দণ্ডনীয়
