যে ব্যক্তি আড়তে বিভিন্ন বিক্রেতার পণ্য গ্রহণ করে, সংরক্ষণ/দরদাম/বিক্রি ও হিসাব-নিকাশের কাজ পরিচালনা করে এবং সাধারণত কমিশন বা নির্দিষ্ট ফি নিয়ে ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতার লেনদেন সম্পন্ন করায় তাকে আড়তদার বলে
