বাংলা ব্যাকরণে ‘আ-কার’ বলতে (১) বর্ণ ‘আ’ (আ) এর আকৃতি/রূপ বা (২) স্বরচিহ্ন ‘া’ (কারচিহ্ন) বোঝায়, যা ব্যঞ্জনের পরে যুক্ত হয়ে ‘আ’ ধ্বনি নির্দেশ করে (যেমন: ক + া = কা)
