Definition
Prostatism refers to a set of lower urinary tract symptoms (such as weak urine stream, difficulty starting urination, frequent urination, urgency, and nocturia) commonly due to benign enlargement of the prostate pressing on the urethra.
प्रोस्टेटिज़्म से आशय निचले मूत्र मार्ग के लक्षणों के एक समूह से है (जैसे मूत्र की धार का कमजोर होना, पेशाब शुरू करने में कठिनाई, बार-बार पेशाब आना, अचानक तेज़ पेशाब की इच्छा, और रात में बार-बार उठकर पेशाब करना), जो प्रायः सौम्य रूप से बढ़े हुए प्रोस्टेट द्वारा मूत्रमार्ग पर दबाव पड़ने के कारण होते हैं।
