Definition
Propellants are materials used to generate force that pushes something forward, commonly by producing hot gases through combustion in rockets, missiles, and some engines; they may be solid, liquid, or gaseous and often include both fuel and oxidizer (or a combined mixture).
प्रोपेलेंट वे पदार्थ (अक्सर रासायनिक) होते हैं जिनका उपयोग आगे की ओर धक्का/थ्रस्ट पैदा करने के लिए किया जाता है, सामान्यतः रॉकेट, मिसाइल और कुछ इंजनों में दहन से बनी गर्म गैसों के माध्यम से; ये ठोस, द्रव या गैसीय हो सकते हैं और प्रायः ईंधन तथा ऑक्सीडाइज़र (या दोनों का संयुक्त मिश्रण) शामिल करते हैं।
