मध्य अंग्रेज़ी “permanence” से; लैटिन permanēns/permanent- (अर्थ: ‘स्थायी/टिकाऊ’) तथा permanēre (अर्थ: ‘अंत तक बने रहना’) से विकसित।
Definition
“Permanences” is the plural form of “permanence.” It commonly means states or instances of lastingness or durability; in a technical physics sense it can also mean the reciprocal of magnetic inductance.
“Permanences” शब्द “permanence” का बहुवचन है। सामान्यतः इसका अर्थ स्थायी रहने की अवस्था/गुण या उसके उदाहरण (स्थायित्व, टिकाऊपन) होता है; तकनीकी भौतिकी में यह चुम्बकीय प्रेरकत्व (magnetic inductance) के व्युत्क्रम के अर्थ में भी प्रयुक्त हो सकता है।
