Formed from out- (‘beyond, surpassing’) + mode (‘fashion, manner’), used from the late 16th–17th century in the sense ‘surpass in fashion; make old-fashioned’.
out- (‘परे, आगे/पार कर’) + mode (‘फैशन/ढंग’) से बना; 16वीं–17वीं शताब्दी के उत्तरार्ध से ‘फैशन में आगे निकलना; पुराना बना देना’ के अर्थ में प्रयोग।
