अंग्रेज़ी में one-act + -er (कर्ता/वस्तु सूचक प्रत्यय) से बना शब्द, जिसका अर्थ एक ही अंक में रचित/प्रस्तुत नाट्य-कृति है; इसका प्रयोग रंगमंच के संदर्भ में उन्नीसवीं शताब्दी के अंत–बीसवीं शताब्दी की शुरुआत से व्यापक हुआ।
Definition
A one-acter is a theatrical work made up of just one act, usually shorter than a full-length play; by extension it can describe a brief, self-contained drama or someone/something associated with one-act plays.
one-acter वह नाटक है जिसमें केवल एक ही अंक (act) होता है, जो आम तौर पर पूर्ण-लंबाई के नाटक से छोटा होता है; व्यापक अर्थ में यह किसी संक्षिप्त, पूर्ण (self-contained) नाटकीय प्रस्तुति या एक-अंकी नाटकों से जुड़े व्यक्ति/वस्तु के लिए भी कहा जा सकता है।
