From Latin nomas (plural nomades), from Greek nomás/nomádēs meaning “roaming, wandering,” from némō “to pasture, to graze.”

Definition
Nomads are individuals or groups who travel regularly, often following seasonal routes for grazing, trade, work, or resources, instead of settling in a single permanent home.
