From micro- (“small”) + climate; micro- from Greek mikrós (“small”) and climate from Greek klíma (“region, slope”), via Latin/modern European usage; the scientific sense developed in the 20th century.

Definition
Microclimates are small areas where temperature, humidity, wind, sunlight, and precipitation patterns differ from nearby regions due to factors like shade, elevation, buildings, vegetation, or proximity to water.
सूक्ष्म जलवायु (माइक्रोक्लाइमेट) वे छोटे क्षेत्र होते हैं जहाँ तापमान, आर्द्रता, हवा, धूप और वर्षा के पैटर्न आसपास के क्षेत्रों से अलग होते हैं; इसका कारण छाया, ऊँचाई, इमारतें, वनस्पति या पानी के निकटता जैसे कारक हो सकते हैं।
