Definition
Masks are coverings worn on the face to hide identity or to protect (e.g., in sports or health). By extension, a mask can mean something that conceals the truth (a pretext). In technical uses, a mask can be a bit-pattern (bitmask) or an image/graphics layer that controls visibility.
masks वे ढकने वाली वस्तुएँ हैं जिन्हें चेहरा छिपाने या सुरक्षा के लिए पहना जाता है (जैसे खेल या स्वास्थ्य में)। रूपक रूप में, mask का अर्थ सच छिपाने वाला बहाना/आवरण भी होता है। तकनीकी अर्थों में mask बिट-पैटर्न (bitmask) या चित्र/ग्राफ़िक्स में दृश्यता नियंत्रित करने वाली परत भी हो सकता है।
