From Latin extrūdĕre ‘to thrust out’ (ex- ‘out’ + trūdĕre ‘to thrust’), later used in English for materials forced through a die.
लैटिन extrūdĕre ‘बाहर धकेलना/ठेलना’ (ex- ‘बाहर’ + trūdĕre ‘ठेलना’) से; बाद में अंग्रेज़ी में सामग्री को डाई/साँचे से दबाकर निकालने की प्रक्रिया के अर्थ में प्रचलित।

To push or force material out through a shaped opening (a die), producing a continuous form (e.g., a tube, rod, or profile); also, to cause something to bulge or stick out.
किसी पदार्थ को साँचे/डाई के छिद्र से दबाकर या धकेलकर बाहर निकालना ताकि वह एक निश्चित आकार (जैसे ट्यूब, रॉड, प्रोफ़ाइल) में बन जाए; कभी-कभी किसी वस्तु का उभरकर/बाहर की ओर निकल आना भी।
